That’s the first thing that came to mind when I heard the news that Alexander was running. I hadn’t heard anything from him since he lost his riding in 2015 and now he’s running for mayor of T.O. This is definitely a setup and I wouldn’t be surprised if Carney weren’t involved, if this doesn’t work out, which it is doubtful it will, Carney will have a plum spot for him in the foreign service.
