Chinese nationals recently arrested and charged in London, Ontario, for possessing firearms and explosives are linked to a shocking anti-drone weapons funding request made online.

According to police announcements, the investigation began on Jan. 24 after police arrested a man suspected of trespassing at Western University. The man, 27-year-old Jerry Tong, allegedly had a loaded handgun when he was arrested, which sparked an ongoing investigation spanning multiple cities and provinces. So far, the probe has led to the arrest of four Chinese men.
