The reality is that Carney has no strength and no choice but to drop the ev tariffs. Trump will force the end of Canada's auto exports to the US and the ev industry is unravelling anyway so our tariff on China's ev's needs to go and will be a non-event. Canada's Auto Pact with the US has always been artificial and will soon be dead. Southern Ontario should have diversified years ago.
