Champagne says India will supply Canada with talent and scale

Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne said that India is ready to provide Canada with “scale, talent and technology” in exchange for food and energy as a way to deepen trade ties.

Champagne made the comments alongside Nirmala Sitharaman, India’s minister of finance and corporate affairs, at the Canadian Club Toronto last week, where he told reporters that Canada and India are “uniquely complementary” nations.
