The Canada Border Services Agency is refusing to release data on how many international students & temporary foreign workers actually leave the country when their permits expire.
These civil servants should be 1- named and shamed, 2- fired. It is beyond irresponsible to sit there collecting wages from our taxes while throwing fuel onto an out of control fire! The minister responsible should be on trial for Treason. There is no reason to hide the data other than it says none of these fools is doing their job, and all are screwing over Canada.
Why would any temporary work, student, or tourist want to leave Canada. From their viewpoint, this is Shang ra la. Free healthcare, free education, free judicial representation, free civil rights, free money in some cases, free housing in some cases, and a job, if they care to get one, that pays more than they could even dream about in their home countries. But if you're a Liberal, they all have a place in the free-ist country on Earth while our own citizens suffer from inflation, housing shortages, high taxes, high crime rates, healthcare issues and on and on. Perhaps it's time to leave, turn around and claim asylum.
They know the numbers, but it would not be politically advantageous to the Liberals to release them. More and more this gov't's actions become authoritarian and accountability is minimal. Unfortunately, we have 4 years of this and things are going to get very bad before change comes about.
