A CBC reporter confronted Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s staff after the taxpayer-funded broadcaster was passed over for questions during a press conference in Windsor.
Poilievre joined local Conservative MPs Tuesday, calling on Carney to recall Parliament, release the failed U.S. trade deal and introduce an emergency economic plan to protect Canadian workers from the escalating trade war.
During the question-and-answer period, Poilievre appeared to prioritize questions from local reporters, prompting CBC Windsor reporter Pratyush Dayal to confront the Conservative leader’s press secretary.
“Why aren’t you letting us ask questions?” Dayal asked.
“You do this at every single presser. You do not let us ask questions.”
