CBC President Marie-Philippe Bouchard was grilled about the state broadcaster’s political biases and its habit of “poaching” local journalists from small media outlets.

Bouchard was called before the Canadian Heritage parliamentary committee hearing, where she maintained that its journalists are free to hold a variety of opinions.
