CBC cut away from Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre moments after he warned Mark Carney not to cave and demanded the tariff-free U.S. trade deal he promised Canadians.

“Mr. Carney, keep your promise. Fight for Canada. Don’t take a bad deal,” Poilievre said Friday. “We expect a good deal, like you promised.”

Poilievre warned Carney against accepting tariffs on Canadian industries, reminding him of his promise to “handle Trump” and “negotiate a win.”

He advised Prime Minister Carney to “put all of our leverage on the table and fight for Canada.”

“That is what we expect the Prime Minister to do… we are hoping that he will get the good deal that he promised.”

Moments later, CBC cut away before the question-and-answer portion and brought in analyst Raffy Boudjikanian to discuss Poilievre’s remarks.

Unlike the legacy media, we accept ZERO tax-dollars. Join us in our mission to replace the CBC.
