The Halton Catholic District School Board paid the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) $30,342 to provide staff training and professional development, according to freedom of information records obtained by Juno News.

The Islamic lobby group originally sought to exempt the records from disclosure. Juno News successfully appealed to the Information and Privacy Commissioner, revealing the funds were spread over 24 invoices. No further information was provided.
