Caroline Mulroney says she is leaving politics, at least for now. The Ontario cabinet minister and longtime PC MPP says she’s stepping down from Doug Ford’s government after nearly seven years in office, triggering a summer byelection in York–Simcoe.
The byelection is expected to take place before the end of the summer.
