Of course that was not always possible and in some cases impossible.

Your automobile that you drive says made in cnada or usa, but a large portion of the components are made in china. Every repairs from a automotive shop. All the little things, clothes, like gadgets, tools home appliances, same thing. China virtually owns us.

I also recall as things moved to China companies like Walmart taking appliances and other things made in America and Canada and sending them to China to be dissected and made "cheaper" and that they did and American, and Canadian industries died.
That of course goes for the Automotive industry.
You can see that if you look at any given box which will generally say "Made in China" or some country controlled by China.
If it says "Made in Mexico" it is coming from China and put together in Mexico at best.
If it says "Assembled in" you can pretty much bet almost everything is not coming from the country that it says "Assembled In".

Then taken back to the Kenworth Assemble plant in Oregon. But they were built in Mexico. Then we wonder why things cost so much.
