So Carnochio, who has nothing but time on his hands at these things because no one wants him in the room, thinks that he can corner the extremely busy, tightly scheduled and closely guarded Xi at the urinals or the water cooler and have a clear and pragmatic chat with the old guy...who is actually running his country and not just shilling for some corporation. Sure...that's going to work well.

Meanwhile Trump just did a masterful end run around China in regards to rare earth minerals by cutting a deal with Cambodia and Australia effectively shutting Xi out of the loop. Good thing we elected that international banker.

Xi is Canada’s pimp. When he snaps his fingers, Marx will bark like a dog.

What will Marx say to the native indians who are making rare earth deals direct with China?

“Don’t forget my cut,eh?”

NO!!!! NO!!!! NO!!!!

China IS NOT our friend.

Never has been..

Never will be.

But this is Carney so what is bad for Canada tends to be good for Carney.

Just look at where he and Brookfield invest for the most part.

Any deal made between Carney and China you know is going to end badly for Canada.

Apparently though bad for Canada is good for Carney and those close to him.

I'll repeat myself "Carney is not a leader, he is all talk, no action, no leadership. Anyone with a brain knows that Canada has the oil and gas resources to become an energy super power as Carney says. The only problem is that the Liberals refuse to recognize this and continue to keep it in the ground with their energy cap and no pipeline legislation. It's time to elect a Conservative government so that energy projects move forward. We need a progressive government not a regressive one.

I miss the good old days when it was treason to deal with our enemies…

Canada does far more trade with the US than China and it is specific combination of trade/goods. It is mathematically unlikely maybe even impossible for Canada to replace that US trade in a symmetrical way. What are the odds that China wants the same goods that Canada once traded with the us? Vice versa?

And it’s being manufactured in Canada. That is why the US demanded that Canada partner with them to battle fentanyl/dope coming through Canada. I get the impression that Canadian authorities didn’t meet those understandable expectations.

Executing any deal with the Chinese is a guarantee of pissing off the Americans with serious consequence’s following.

Perhaps that as we trade more with China, Canadian wages will get closer to Chinese wages, including slave wages for the politically incorrect.

Once the economy collapses, Carnage will, if he is still PM, launch a CBDC, and a social credit system. Until then, please donate to a food bank.

Why would we want a major trading partner that lies, cheats, and steals as SOP? Because Carney is comfortable with those behaviours. And how is that? Likely because he engages in them himself, and has spent his career surrounded by others who do likewise.

Carney's values are NOT Canada's values, nor, indeed, the values of any decent human being.

Going from dumb things (negotiating in bad faith with the US) to total annihilating incompetence (negotiating with the CCP) One cannot deal with the CCP. They lie, cheat and do not honour contracts. All we will become is another pawn in their pocket.
