I think when the CUSMA renegotiations start that will spell the end of Ontario’s auto industry. It seems pretty apparent that Canada made a big mistake ever investing in electric vehicles in the first place. Canadians, for the most part, don't want to buy them. EVs just aren't meant for Canada's climate. Silver is a major part of electric car productions along with just about every other major cutting edge industry now. Silver prices are going through the roof and global silver production cannot keep up with demand. It will take 10 to 15 years before enough mines are on line to satisfy current needs. Let China have their EV market. Better their money being poured down an unsustainable rathole than ours. Canada can get back to building internal combustion engine cars which is what the North American car market wants anyway.
Well the CARS replaced the Horse with gas engines and E.V's are no doubt great, if you live in Hawai,Arizona or the Sahara but not in TIMMINS or THUNDER BAY,Heck even city if you live and work there but apply logic to anything the Gov. drives down our throat ain't always good .Our future kids don't even know how to add subtract or divide, but at their young age,,they are already GENDER WISE that will be their demise..
