Carney scoffs at Jivani’s return to Washington

Prime Minister Mark Carney said Conservative MP won't return home from Washington with any information that he doesn't already have.

Prime Minister Mark Carney scoffed at the notion of Conservative MP Jamil Jivani’s trip to Washington to discuss Canada-U.S. trade relations, saying there is only “one negotiator for Canada,” his government.

This will be Jivani’s second time travelling south of the border to meet with American trade officials.
