Of course Carney would like a majority government! Then he could do whatever he wants to. This floor crosser will regret his decision if he has any conscience at all.

it really doesn't seem to matter whether it is a majority or minority Carney does what Carney wants and it is all for the benefit of Carney not Canada!

He regrets nothing. He has two gold plated pensions for life and probably the “promise” (always have to qualify that word when it comes to Libs) of a Senatorial or Ambassadorial appointment next.

Carney has now proven he is a liar and a fraud.

Tuesday's budget just proved that in spades.

... AND ... Since he is a Lieberal...

When he says that having a "Liberal Majority would be good for the country"...

Turn that 180 degrees and you know exactly what he was really telling us.

Tuesday's budget just proved that the jerk with the Weird Sock Fetish was a rank amateur when it comes to destroying a country.

Over the last 12 months we've seen Carney anointed as leader of the Liberal Party by totally corrupting the normal electoral process. Then, the mainstream media, in obedience to their Liberal paymasters, manipulated the electorate into thinking the general election was about Trumps tariffs (and Carney's assumed ability to handle that issue) rather than about the Liberal record of disasters and corruption over the previous decade. It got them re-elected but not by enough to rule unchecked.

Once he took power, Carney made a great display of his loyalty to Britain's blue-bloods. That financial elite that made him Governor of the Bank of England and then gave him leadership roles at the Bank of International Settlements (BIS), the Central Bank of all Central banks. Now the Liberals are bribing opposition MPs to join them in an effort to boost their numbers so they can avoid another election as it has become abundantly clear to Canadians that Carney was definitely not the right man to deal with Trumps tariffs. And what about Carney's first budget, strategically tabled less than 8 weeks before Christmas? (If Poilievre succeeds in a non-confidence vote, he can be blamed for a "Christmas election".) The budget offers record deficit spending that will benefit the private bankers to the tune of $55 billion per year in interest payments alone. Once a bankster, always a bankster, eh.

This last year has given Canadian a tremendous insight into the charade that Canada is both independent and a real democracy.

We are a vassal state to the British financial oligarchy that has destroyed Britain. And if Carney gets a majority, he will have carte blanche to do the same to Canada.

The Canadian citizenry needs to make their voices heard right now. Pressure needs to be applied to NDP & Bloc MPs, and particularly to the 2 Greens, to vote along with the Conservatives on this budget and force another election. Five years of unchecked power in the hands of Mark Carney will devastate this country.

Economically, we're not yet at the levels of the Great Depression of the 1930s. We've still got access to cash. We're not yet microchipped. We're not yet jailed for criticism of the government. Carney's still got a lot to accomplish.

Let's see, everyone hates everyone. We blame the problems on Trump, not the real culprit. We are taxed beyond belief, and the conman wants more. There are millions homeless, living on food banks. Many want a revolution. We would never see daylight on debt, mega amount of companies have left the country. Many more going without a job, We are flooded with illegal and other immigrants. People have been jailed for going against the criminal government, not to mention all of the illegal criminal doings of the lieberal party. And you don't thing we're don yet, you say we still have money hidden in a piggy bank yet. Where would that be, in the conman's bank account in the Caribbean.

Flip-Flop d'Entremont wasn't that long ago he was calling out Carney for his out of control spending and now he flip-flops for his own personal gain , the man has no principals and cares nothing for Canada I hope his constituents do a recall on him and punt him to the curb for good !

Sure he does lol. Yesterday’s floor crossing was one of the best political choreographic presentations I have seen in a long time. A fine liberal demonstration of their theatric capabilities if these attributes could only translate into something that would benefit Canadians versus their egos and spending abilities. I guess we are going to have to “suffer” another 4 years of this !!!!!

Libs have 169 seats. They needs 172 for majority. This one defection means they need 2 more. The greens have 2 seats. The Greens can be bribed with little effort.

It should be against the law for a member of Parliament to leave the party for another party and still stay in Parliament. They are betraying their constituents, even if Mr Chris d’Entremont had only a 1% lead; he had a mandate from his voters and it was not a liberal MP mandate. This man is a traitor to his constituents.

With the conman having a majority would then close the book on Canada. Canada is already done. All that's needed now is for provinces to go on their own. Something that quebec always wanted. And much of the west has been showing much interest in for years. Maybe now is the time for Ab and Sask. to get started. End this elitist scam for good.

If you think Trudeau was bad then Carney would be much worse. He wants a majority so he can do whatever he likes without having to answer to anyone. Remember Trudeau when he had a majority? Do not let this Carney get a majority as it will be very bad for our country.

Now that Carney has done a 180° he also still knows what's best even though he advised Trudeau.
