Carney praises Trump for rallying NATO members, supports latest strikes on Iran
"It’s not just that he’s winning the argument — he’s won the argument," Carney told reporters about Trump pushing NATO members to spend more.
Prime Minister Mark Carney praised U.S. President Donald Trump for his hard line on getting NATO nations to up their defence spending, saying that he’s “won the argument.”
Carney said he supports Trump’s persistent pressure to have other countries bolster their contributions, saying that it has helped the coalition in “gaining momentum” after the two leaders spoke on Sunday.
