This is one Canadian who did NOT vote for this " gentleman ". There are thousands more like me.

I have no proof that the election was manipulated but I have a strong gut feeling that it was . That is not poor loser talk, that is critical thinking talk.

Angela, I could not agree with you more. I have had that very same thought myself. Aside from the kindergarten ballots with their pencils, ballot-stuffing of only one riding - Poiievre's, and that comic farce of a Liberal leadership race, I simply do not believe Canadians are that uninformed or unconcerned about our country's future.

And there's the fact that Trudeau did not want to leave. He wanted to stay and run again. Even after being forced to resign, he stayed in de facto power for several months, refusing to let go. The general public had a pretty good idea of exactly how inept, corrupt, and empty-headed Trudeau was but he did not care. So that makes me wonder what his political bosses had on him to force a resignation.

Hey guys, don't you know that its all about milk cows in Queerbec. This nonsense started before NAFTA. The Quebec Liberals are so powerful that they have controlled this market since Trudeau I, and maybe earlier. Any dairy related products in Canada are soooo protected and Quebec rules the roost on cheese, butter, milk, etc. They control the price, and we, the sheeple, just have to suck it up.

Donald says there is a 400% tariff on US dairy products coming into Canada.

The East has to go their own way, our country is toast.

Independence The West's only hope.

Mark Carney was promoted as a brilliant intellectual to lead Canada against the irrational Trump, and he would be the one to tell the US what to do. Carney, CEO of Brookfield, an organization based on climate obsession, has made hundreds of controversial decisions without considering climate change or environmental contradictions.

This brilliant (?) banker has caused many problems in the UK.

Carney has advised our former not-so-brilliant golden boy, which has resulted in Canada's economy being the worst in the G7.

What has concerned me is that despite all the flowery words spoken about Carney, they have resulted in nothing but smoke screens and fearmongering, and have produced numerous conversations without any measurable results.

Instead, Carney appears to hold very different opinions and a democratic ideology that sounds more like Marxism, discussing a transformed world economy, but never explains what has changed or is changing.

Is he implying that the WEF is the new world economy, a Fresno/Zeitgeist ideology?

However, despite all the talk, he has spent millions without a plan or a budget, ignoring the will of the people, saying he has a mandate, he does not.

Carney runs a minority government.

He failed to negotiate the tariff issue; he has been lying on numerous occasions, telling Canadians not to worry, as he has dealt successfully in many complex disputes and problem-solving matters, but I have not heard of any instances where he has successfully resolved such issues.

Did you?

Considering his conduct, speeches, his lies and disinformation and his past involvement in Canada's liberal party I cannot consider Carny as trustworthy and brilliant, but a evil CEO of Brookfield who is planning to syphon as much money as he can to the many holdings and companies Brookfield in involved with and has created a distintive, but serious conflict of interest as PM that we MUST remove this person before Brookfiled is running and bankrupt Canada.

Had Canadians not been so eager to lick the boots of a London City Banker they may have had the marginally better candidate in power today. But Canadians have proven conclusively, by electing Carney, that they are Colonials and neither need not deserve nationhood. The Palace and its Governor are the natural outcome of that fact.

Stay in power but work onlt=y for their own paycheques - not for our country and. our interests in deelopment and growth! So frustrating! The “emergency” cabinet meeting, called last week.

I’m seeing this week all kinds of articles on how we “have to lower our expectations articles of the government’s ability (meaning: Mark Carney and the Liberals) to be able to do much of anything because of the Trump tariffs and the uncertainty in the world”. Meanwhile the Liberal spending machine is ratcheting up debt at a frightening rate. Much different than the media’s message during the selection campaign on how only the financial genius of Carney could save Canada from ruin.

President Donald Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do and will continue to do so. He has two goals.

The first is to bring back specific essential industries to the U.S. in case of a possible war with China. The second is the most important for Canada: to balance the trade between the U.S. and all other countries, including Canada.

Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney have worked diligently against Donald Trump’s second goal. Thus, it is no wonder that he is raising tariffs on Canada. There will be more tariffs until Mark Carney works with him and not against him.

Justin Trudeau called Trump “dumb” and removed all U.S. wine and liquor from Canadian store shelves. This may have made Justin feel good, but it works against Canada and Canadians.

Mark Carney has a solid record of working against Donald Trump. He placed tariffs on some imports from the U.S. and decided that Canada should buy its military goods from Europe rather than from the U.S. The U.S. has the most advanced military in the world, so why would Mark Carney purchase second-best from Europe?

Until Mark Carney starts working with President Trump, Canadians will be punished. He might not have noticed, but Donald Trump says he has all the best cards. He is correct!

Canada's decline in prosperity needs to be reversed, and this can only be achieved by exploiting our oil, natural gas, and coal resources and selling them overseas. We currently sell oil to the U.S. at a serious discount. Serious revenue from critical minerals is a “will of the wisp” several decades away at best.

Please encourage Mark Carney to understand that President Trump must achieve his second goal for the benefit of all Canadians. At the moment, it appears that Mark Carney is confused and does not know what to do.

The worst thing is that the liquor store, without Vodka and American booze, looks like Jerry's Budget Center - in a lean year.

But Carney's fellow WEFfer and go-to classy European tyrant... I mean pervert... I mean 'leader', Macron said it all when he decreed: "The Era of Plenty is over!"

That is what Nazi cartoon villain, Schwab said too. So did Carney and Gates and Soros etc. etc.

Those are the people now driving Canada over the cliff, like the herd of Gadarene swine. Oink!

"Act in haste. Repent at leisure."

In case you wondered why Dr Meat (Carney) was at such pains to define the Democracy he had in mind as "Athenian" - other than showing off his City of London shithead creds - here is something perhaps all Canadian should have read carefully, or at least the presstitutes of the CBC should have - but did not:

I have tried to put emphasis on the parts that really matter using [ ] square brackets. The gist is that Marx Carney pulled a fast one. He did go back to Athenian democracy and away from what Wiki calls "modern democracy."

That is the only promise he has kept. Welcome to Athens in the time before Christ.

"Despite having its roots in the principles of classical Athens, modern democracy has developed to meet the challenges of modern administration. [Direct participation was a hallmark] of Athens' democracy, [but it frequently encountered obstacles like the influence of mob mentality and hurried decision-making].

Modern democratic regimes, on the other hand, place [a strong emphasis on the necessity of checks and balances between the several departments of government]. By [ensuring that decisions are based on thoughtful discussion and careful consideration]."
