Carney caught hiding food prices at grocery store
Mark Carney was called out in Question Period by Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre after grocery price tags were removed ahead of a press conference at a grocery store in Ottawa.
Prime Minister Mark Carney held a press conference inside an Ottawa grocery store this week where produce displayed behind him appeared without visible price tags.
During Question Period the following day, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre said staff from the Prime Minister’s Office arrived at the store ahead of the event and removed the price labels from apples and avocados positioned behind the Prime Minister.
Plus, new federal polling shows the Liberals have reached forty-seven per cent support among decided voters following Mark Carney’s speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
