This guy is brain dead...

Pipelines carry products that are required for heat, power, chemicals and a bunch of other things.

Data Centres (wonder how many of those have Brookfield in their mix somewhere) while certainly necessary consume massive amounts of power, are highly automated, as shown basically Kill the Grid if they are in support of AI... You get the idea.

OH... And water ... And huge tracts of land ... And infrastructure ... And.. And.. And...

{Sounding more and more like it has Brookfield written all over it.}

So...

Where exactly does the fraud that is our PM expect to get all the energy required to support what is these days the construction of massive power sucking, environment destroying data centres or is he going to leave that up to Brookfield?

Besides... It is Carney...

Likely nothing is going to get done.

That is how he rolls these days.

Make no mistake. He is not brain dead, he is simply a very calculating and self serving person who will advance his hidden agendas at Canada's peril.

Very true but degreed and supposedly intelligent is certainly no indication of being smart.

Carney is indeed what you have stated and I think his basic hidden agenda involves only one word... CARNEY.

Yes sir. The worst part is that lots of people understand this, yet the Canadian system allows for that corruption to go unchallenged.

The only way to challenge it is to bypass it and deal with him by throwing him out in an election.

Just have to keep hammering away and educating as many as we can to understand these issues. Eventually, we will overcome. Unfortunately, Canada is full of apathetic and gullible people, so lots of work to do.

People like Trudeau,Chinaboy Chrétien, Mulroney and Carny are never held to account. It’s as if Canada is unable to stop political malfeasance and fecklessness, and the kleptocrats act accordingly by breaking their word and screwing over the citizenry, without fear of reprisal.

Unfortunately, the PMO's office has far too much power which has been usurped by weakening our democratic process.

Way too much power, esp when the PM can break the law (insert Trudeau scandal here) and remain in power.

Yes. Net zero is economic decline. Possibly what Carney wants right now.

He (AKA Brookfield) is invested in pipelines in other countries. He cannot allow pipelines in Canada as that will result in fewer profits for the infrastructure he is invested in.

Oh Mark Carney gets it. These data centres and high tech companies are where Mark Carney will be able to build up his portfolio and those of his elitist buddies. He's already invested in oil in the US and other countries. He's pushing the green stuff here.

Kwong Law's avatar

Then Canada can purchase more solar panels and wind turbines from CCP China.

If you look at the timeline, it’s not too long before Carney resigning his pose from Brookfield to seek for Liberal leadership, he went to China and secured a multimillion loan from Chinese central bank. Brookfield has substantial investments in subsidized industries such as green energy.

Kat Vodden's avatar

He is beholden to China & that is why he wants to cozy up to them more & has basically screwed up any deal we might achieve with the US by ticking Trump off. He will do nothing for Canada but continue to run our debt up. He needs to be gone & a poll indicated that Canadians (that voted for him) were disillusioned with him yet would vote for him again. How stupid is that! MSM has scared so many by trying to paint Pierre as Trump yet nothing could be further from the truth. Pierre is the only one who will get our natural resources out of the ground & making money for us.

Carney will do and say anything to push his anti Canada agenda and take us down the tubes to economic disaster, which we are already on the verge of. If Canadians don't wake up and make a serious effort to understand what he is doing and how he is doing it, Canada will simply not survive.

The best thing Canada could possibly do for itself would be to repair it’s relationship with America. I’ve never understood why so many Canadians are anti-US. Look how that’s worked out. Canada is right next door to an enormous market, you couldn’t ask for a better trade situation. Do you think that AI centers will make up for the loss of 70% of Canadian imports/exports that US trade used to represent?

Another failure and distraction. Tens of billions of borrowed money to be written off.
