Good news for now for Canadians and the Auto industry. We have to continue letting this Liberal government that they work for Canadians and we want a say in what we own and drive.

Lieberals probably know that they should work for Us, but put this idea into the trash can . How can they fill their own pockets otherwise?

Please add to your commentary with ……you can’t get EV vehicles as there is no supply , they are still way way too expensive and they are inefficient with huge heavy batteries that only go 400 km on a charge!!!!

Do not sit there and be abused by politicians and Their Oligarch bosses as a bankrupt Canadian consumer being pushed around having nonsense mandates forced upon us !!!!!

Fight back against the clown captain carnage !!!!

Though it's good to have this break from the mandate, I actually want Carney to stop enacting & taking credit for Pierre's ideas. He's doing nothing but playing political games. He will have his climate change agenda one way or another & the moment he thinks he can pull off a majority, he'll have another election & if he can lie his way to a win, we'll never see the Canada we once knew, again.

Sorry to say this Ruth, but we're already past that point. We would have to have a civil war, then rebuild a country. Maybe change the name to something with real meaning.

Easy way to tell con man to screw off, is to not buy any. No one can force you to buy something that is a bad piece of junk.

So Carney backs down on EV mandates. Of course he does. This is the Liberal party’s favourite trick: promise the moon to the eco-radicals, hoover up their votes with talk of “the greatest challenge of our era,” and bask in the glow of noble intentions. Trudeau played the noble eco-warrior, with Carney whispering in his ear, and the enviro-left swooned.

Now, reality intervenes. The EV policy was insane, and they quietly shelve it. But notice what happens: they also get the votes of everyone who thought it was insane to begin with. They play both sides, talking out of both corners of their mouth, and reap twice the reward.

It’s politics as theatre: gesture green, bank the virtue, then retreat when the arithmetic becomes unbearable. And in a country where most voters are half-asleep, it works. Canada is governed not by policy, but by vibes. Carney gets votes because people say “he feels solid.” Poilievre loses them because he once ate an apple in front of a reporter and it looked arrogant.

This is the level of our democracy: voters who can’t explain a carbon tax from a parking ticket are empowered to decide the fate of the economy on the basis of a vibe, a smirk, or a fruit. They’re not voting for a partner or a drinking buddy; they’re voting for the person tasked with steering a country that is already debt-addled, productivity-starved, and in demographic free-fall.

And yet here we are: Carney the eco-zealot one day, Carney the pragmatist the next. He’s not leading — he’s performing. And Canadians are clapping along, too stupid or too distracted to realize the show is at their expense.

There is no logic to the EV mandate push. Firstly, EV's don't help the environment. EV's are made using ton's of FF, then the Electricity generated is mostly made using FF. Secondly, personal Vehicles are only 8% of world Carbon Emissions. Lastly, We are 40 years away from the proper infrastructure to have even 50% of EV's on the road. So, what is the real agenda. We know the real agenda. The agenda is, they can control EV's better than gas vehicles. And if we don't listen, they shut off the power.

Carney is shifting focus to his climate agenda turning away from theTrump issue. Mostly because it isn't working on many levels anymore. Just listening to him(which is extremely hard to do) over the past few days. I think they have been working all summer behind closed doors on climate initiatives. He and his ministers are about to unleash a whirlwind of crap on us, in the eco environment climate change releam. I hope the conservatives are ready.

Is Carney taking the spotlight off of the Libtards and instead still mandating it via the Libtarded companies?!? He covers up his “hidden hand” behind the dealerships having nothing, but idiotic EV’s?!?
