Parliament is back, and Mark Carney has decided to squeeze in a single Question Period on Monday before flying to New York for three days of UN meetings.
Well, isn't that big of him? He's actually going to do the job that we pay him for for a couple of hours. How noble!
"Carney will not address the General Assembly during the trip. Instead, senior government officials say he will meet with world and business leaders and participate in several UN events." Later on in the article he says, "At the General Assembly, we will sit down with partners old and new, defend the rules that protect our sovereignty, and turn co-operation into real opportunity for Canadian workers and businesses". So which is it? Or, like a toddler, is Skid Marx just spewing the first thing that comes into his mind in order to get out of any conversation that doesn't involve a teleprompter?

Just as importantly, why is that CAF member saluting him? He's not a Head of State and he holds no military rank or office.
