This problem is costing people’s lives on the highway. The only route east and west ,the Trans Canada Highway handling all the present truck traffic is becoming a two lane death trap. There are no other highways east or west once you pass the turn off at Fort Frances until you get into Manitoba This means when you close this highway because an accident has happened no traffic flow exists. Most often the highway is closed and lives are endangered or lost because this highway , the only artery east or west has been closed because of trucks and incompetent truck drivers on the highway. In the not that distant past this problem almost never happened.
