Just one day after lashing out at reporters for asking about potential conflicts of interest, PM Carney admits he will “probably” have to recuse himself from decisions on certain files.
Mark Carney is a dangerous person with all his assets investments in Green Energy. We as Canadians can not afford this man to become our Next Prime Minister. VOTE OUT MARK CARNEY NEXT ELECTION 2025
Hmmm he would leave the room when matters of conflict. We would trust there wouldn’t be someone internal working in his behalf. I sure don’t believe or have confidence this would actually happen. Particularly when he has tried tooth and nail not to disclose these conflicts.
I'm not a fan of reporters trying to corner politicians on questionable issues and this is one of those issues; it is questionable but not entirely so. He may be working with the ethics commissioner on how best to do this and probably doesn't want to comment until it is handled, but the bigger question is, why do we elect leaders who are known elitist multimillionaires who want to take away all our creature comforts and force us to eat bugs and ride bikes while they jet around on private jets (that we pay for!) eating caviar?
He waxes on about how he grew up just a normal guy in Edmonton and he's just an aw shucks kind of neighbor next door, who happens to own half the country and rubs shoulders with George Soros.
Very well said. Considering that the subjects of our ethics commissioners are the ones that give them powers, no surprise they're always armed with knives in a gunfight
People like Carney and Trudeau have a conflict of interest with most of the human race. That 35 % of Canadians support such people is a sign of dangerous decline. Love your polls. They will help keep the manufacture of consent kind of pollster on the narrow path.

Is he allowed to tell the the manager of his investments in a blind trust before they are actually transferred to bulk up on green investments?

We do NOT need or want another WEF person telling us what to do or think!!!!!

The trouble with ethics commissions like ours is that they, metaphorically speaking of course, don't carry guns.
