Candice says this reaction isn’t an isolated mistake: it reflects a deeper culture inside legacy media. For years, the establishment press has branded conservatives as “far-right” or “fascist,” fuelling hostility and creating a climate where political violence can be excused. By refusing to acknowledge the gravity of this moment, she argues, the media revealed their own bias and contempt for millions of ordinary Canadians who share mainstream values.
She warns that this cannot go unanswered. When journalists label people extremists simply for being conservative, they put a target on their backs and embolden those who would resort to violence. Instead of staying silent, Candice urges Canadians to push back, expose the dishonesty of legacy outlets, and strengthen independent media that will defend free expression and tell the truth.

The call us “far” right because without inserting the far in there they’d have to call us right!
For a start I'd like to see the US State Dept revoke all current US visas/work permits for all management and journalists/reporters from CBC, CTV, CP24, and GLOBAL . Also, all of these people should be banned from entering/traveling through the US.
