No matter how you paint the picture, mass immigration with no plan and no responsibility to the citizens of Canada and the new comers we should hope to integrate into our culture is poor governance. “Welcome to Canada”, we have no place for you to live, no jobs, a strained healthcare system and a deficit that we will be paying for for generations.
I agree that the Conservative party is MORE LIKELY to take action at restricting immigration but I have my doubts as to whether they will actually do much to rectify the Liberal inspired damage already done by deporting illegals already living here. I don't know whether that would be because Conservatives will find the political optics unfavourable to them or whether it would be because the government services are filled with so many left-leaning career bureaucrats who hold the real power and cannot be gotten rid of that Conservatives will be largely impotent when it comes to getting any REAL corrective changes made. I fear that Conservatives will just put bandaids on the major damage inflicted by the Liberals and Canada will limp forward into the future largely unchanged and possibly continuing down the slippery slope the Liberals set us on.
Illegal immigration, visa overstays that disappear, no vetting, expectation of being “looked after” by Ottawa, unrest and terrorism caused by Muslim jihadists……just a few things Canadians are vehemently opposed to!! Housing, jobs, fear from violence, efforts to erase Christianity, open violence against Canadian Jews….all these things are ruining the freedom loving, economically sound country Canada USED TO BE!!
