Canada’s population has exploded since the turn of the century, growing at an exponential rate largely due to immigration, far outpacing other developed nations, according to new data from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

In 2024, Canada’s population grew by 34.6 per cent since 2000.

Sweden had the next highest population growth rate at 19.1 per cent.
