Canada’s absurd double standard over hate symbols at protests
Candice covers the hate rallies in Toronto, Carney’s attempt to distract from his disastrous record and the latest on Canada’s use of Chinese EVs on military bases
On today’s episode of the Candice Malcolm Show News Update, Candice covers Prime Minister Mark Carney’s latest comments from Norway, where he pledged to “take whatever measures necessary” to protect Greenland. What? Candice argues that Carney is trying to deflect from his foreign policy failures, notably taking two weeks to disclose to the public that a Canadian base was attacked by an Iranian missile.
Candice argues that this should be a national scandal, but instead, the legacy media is giving the Carney government the benefit of the doubt and barely reporting on this colossal story.
Next, Candice covers the Islamic hate marches in Toronto. Following Saturday’s Al Quds march, on Sunday, a group of extremists gathered in a quiet suburban area of Toronto holding blatantly hateful and anti-semetic signs. Where is the media outrage? Where are the Liberal politicians to decry such open hate?
Remember when they labeled the entire Freedom Convoy a “hate group” and smeared them as radicals and Nazis? But radical Muslims who actually hate Jews and want to kill them get a pass. The media cannot and will not write a negative story about Muslim activists.
Prime Minister Mark Carney has been completely silent on these hate marches, and yet, at the same time, his government is pushing through censorship laws to crack down on alleged “hate symbols” online. Why not crack down on the real hate and intimidation of Jewish Canadians in Jewish neighbourhoods in Toronto?
Candice reports on Defence Minister David McGuinty recent comments on using Chinese Electric Vehicles on Canadian Armed Forces bases, saying he will “look into it.” This comes one month after Industry Minister Melanie Joly said she wouldn’t rule out the use of Chinese EVs to Canadian Armed Forces fleets.
Next, Candice covers a grim economic report released by the Fraser Institute showing that the Carney government will bring less revenue than the Trudeau government had projected, and yet will still double government spending over the next four years.
Yes, you read that correctly – Carney will DOUBLE government spending, leaving our country with an estimated $2.9 Trillion in debt by 2030.
Finally, Candice ends the show by applauding Ontario Premier Doug Ford for supporting Don Cherry and supports the calls for him to be awarded the Order of Canada.
Happy St. Patricks Day!

Carney couldn’t care less about Canadians and even less about Canada .
He’s here to pillage and move on.
“Carney will DOUBLE government spending, leaving our country with an estimated $2.9 Trillion in debt by 2030.” And who will own us then? Literally own us? Why, the WEF and Brookfield.
