The Canada Border Services Agency announced that in seven days, its officers seized over $4.5 million worth of contraband tobacco in a bid to “tackle” organized crime.

In a post on X, Canada’s chief border agency said it stopped millions worth of illicit tobacco shipments entering Canada from the U.S. at one point of entry, the Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward, Ontario.
