Canada accounts for only 1% of U.S. fentanyl imports: study

Only a fraction of the fentanyl seized in the United States was imported from Canada, according to a new study from U.S. think tank the Manhattan Institute.

Only a fraction of the fentanyl seized in the United States was imported from Canada, according to a new study from U.S. think tank the Manhattan Institute.

The report reviewed thousands of major fentanyl seizures across 80 U.S. counties that run along the Canadian and Mexican borders and found large-scale seizures originating in Canada to be “relatively rare.”
