In the latest episode of ‘Not “Sorry,” host Alexander Brown dives into Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s plan to fix healthcare by offering more choice.
With the last few moves in Alberta indeed I think the question is "Who will save Alberta?".
I fear Canada is now too far gone with the likes of Eby, Carney, Ford, etc. to be worth saving (again even if it could now be saved which is doubtful).
I am afraid with Healthcare, the Peterson Legislation, the use of the NWT, Energy Policy, etc.. etc.. etc.. Alberta's only chance is to stand alone.
They are getting zero help from Canada's fraud PM.
He is taking his marching orders from The WEF, UN, Globalists, Environmentalists, (of course) Brookfield, etc.
Ford occasionally promises good words but by his actions (another almost billion about to be thrown down the drain on yet another EV debacle). He has a big mouth and cannot be trusted.
Carney simply talks out of both sides of his mouth and other orfuses and defines what will be done except to date absolutely NOTHING has actually been done.
Canada's health care system is broken, likely beyond repair.
The Public/Private system has shown it works quite well when applied properly.
Only Smith seems willing to give it a try although Ford has made noises in that regard as well but that is basically all he does.. Make noises and some of those set Canada and his Province back big time.
SO...
Go Smith.
Once again do what is good for Alberta and Albertans.
I 👏 Alberta’s attempt to improve the delivery of health care. If it is implemented correctly and works great then the other provinces can copy, to save their systems. If it doesn’t, one can always go back to the execrable system it was. Of course the Friends of H.C. will scream, and the ndp will rant and rave, but neither come up with solutions other than throwing more money at it, from a public purse that is rapidly dwindling.
One of the biggest problems with Alberta healthcare is all the useless employees in the giant office. They're nothing but a bottle neck in the system. They do their best to make Drs. and the system look like bumbling fools.
Yes, there is that. The administrative system can be flattened. The same can be said for Alberta’s large school districts like Calgary Public and Edmonton Public.
Sure we can save it. But we must follow these procedures. 1. Kick kanaduuh out of Alberta. 2. Kick all the immigrants out. 3. Start dealing with Saskatchewan. 4. Start dealing straight talk with BC, which includes equal trade and shipping dealings. 5. Increase relations with the US. 6. Kick the low life commies out of the Alberta. Then watch the money roll in.
The handing out of a lump sum payment from Ottawa to provincial/territorial departments of Health is an open book for the administrators of hospitals and any other connected facilities to grease pockets and to hell with the lowly people needing timely care!
Government funding in countries that boast excellent patient care is done AFTER CARE IS RECEIVED BY THE PATIENT!! That’s the biggest reason corruption lies in Canada’s lump sum Health Care funding to provinces! Top down greasing of administrator’s pockets and those running programs leave precious little for lowly patients! Switzerland has a system that is the envy of many across the developed world! I know this personally having lived there recently.
Premier Smith needs cooperation and support from Alberta’s administrators of health care as well as the general public to implement the programming she and many others envision! Remember this everyone! Remember too the devastating and colossal slide of Alberta’s last NDP government!
This new form of health care will support everyone with timely surgeries and care. No one will pay more or less by choice! It works like magic by allowing physicians choices and freeing up time for patient care!
Actually saving requires that you know how it failed. The health system across Canada has been completely swamped by close to 12 million immigrants coming in in the past 25 years. What wouldn't break? Is it a bad system or has it been a massive leadership failure? Hint: the correct answer is B.
There is no healthcare system worth saving. No one in management gives a rats ass about the people needing healthcare. 90% of Doctors are just pill pushers working for Big Pharma. They don't want nothing to do with natural medicine.
The only ones i have respect for in that system are the surgeons who actually fix people
No one can save any of this....it can be trashed and rebuilt with a new generation of 'Servants' to the people. A new attitude and a New Day. Legacy Politicians have outlived their usefulness. Political class have forgotten their purpose. no longer running the Province/Country they choose to run the people to be 'like' their narcissistic selves.

Sadly the only thing left in the purse is a credit card
Unfortunately true.

Our current health care system has to change. It is clearly not functioning as well as some claim. I am encouraged by any attempts to improve things
