While I really do hope that Canada still can be fixed.

Between the likelihood that Carney and gang will be in power for pretty much an entire term perhaps an entire term and between OntArWeOwe having another Liberal-esk government in the faux Conservative form of Doug Fraud and his trained seals with Quebec and East Coast in the mix and a couple of NDP Governments...

... Think about the above ...

It's really difficult to believe anything other than Canada is now a lost country never to be fixable in any recognizable form.

What a shame.

What a HUGE SHAME.

You pretty well described the situation; Carney was elected on what I think are false pretences; first that he was the best to handle Donald Trump ... how is that going? The fact is, Trump will do what he wants even if it poses problems for the average US citizen. The second thing is that Carney is the complete opposite to what Canada needs, as he is a globalist and a Liberal. He already, without a budget has supposedly doubled our deficit and I haven't seen any move to downsize the 90,000 bureaucrats that Trudope government hired. Also the country needs to slam the door on immigration as they have been the problem caused for housing, health care, crime and unemployment, not to mention Trudeau's the catch and release policies that should have never seen the light of day. I have said this over and over that according to Steven Koonin in his book "Unsettled" which is about the so called climate change issue; what is right and what is wrong, he states that "Mark Carney.... is probably the single most influential figure in driving investors and financial institutions around the world to focus on changes in climate and human influences upon it" In ordinary language he was a "Special Envoy" for the UN to convince bankers around the world not to finance fossil fuel projects. This, at a time where more than 140 studies on CO2, show that it does nearly nothing discernible to cause heat on the planet. Further it has never controlled temperature in the 560 million years of what we know about temperature and CO2 as the complete opposite is scientific fact; that is, temperature controls atmospheric CO2. So being aware of all of this, does anyone really believe that Carney will build pipelines; that is, other than the ones already planned, particularly oil pipelines that are desperately required in all directions in Canada from AB and SK. This country should be self sufficient in oil, in every province and in order for that to happen we need pipelines across the country. Instead Carney's idea is to force Canadians to buy Electric vehicles which are a complete backward step, due to the many issues with this technology; weight, charging time, the massive mining required which is 500000 lbs of rock to dig up and transport by huge diesel machines, the CO2 emissions equivalent of driving a regular gas car 60,000 to 70,000 miles...... yes miles, not to mention the massive expensive infrastructure required to place every Canadian in an EV.... not going to happen. This mandate for the sale of EV's along with the fines attached that dealerships and manufacturers face if they don't meet quotas, is nothing but coercion, if not extortion. The money that Canada will spend on this antiquated technology will bury the country in debt.....No thank you Marx Carnage.

Yes but if any of You can help to deport an illegal will help chip in for the transport of said person Back to their own country.. It may not be much as I am a pensioner. But if We can get enough to start the process. I am sure other Canadians that are looking at this problem would also chip in. Do You know of any person that could start this ball rolling?

Has anyone else noticed that the Liberals have solutions for problems that don’t exist but no solutions for the problems that do exist? Failure to understand a diagnose a problem means any solution will do (usually more harm than good). The housing problem for example is caused by unfettered mass immigration that is overwhelming our service capacity. Throwing more money into Brookfield shareholders isn’t the solution.

Why do we even need a government if they can take a 3 month paid summer vacation.?( bloody leeches)

And then return to parliament to fuck things up even more ?

We need a coup or a civil war to rid us of these liberal morons.

Same old BS. There is no desire to "FIX" Canada. It is what the Laurentian Elites wanted, and they will never change it. Time to administer their made in Canada MAID program. (not advocating violence). As for Alberta, it is time to save ourselves and leave.

Selling the ideology that the Canadian Liberals have been trying to peddle now for the last 10 years has always been one of extremely dismal prospects. It is in competition against small-c conservatism and even against small-l liberalism, which between the two, had HELPED Canadians to make Canada a prosperous country to be very proud of and rightfully so ...... up until the time when WEF sponsored Marx-inspired ideologies with thoughts of global governance thoroughly INFESTED the Liberal Party and mainstream media (esp. CBC).

In order to peddle this garbage to the Canadian public to the point of installation, it is imperative for them to first destroy the alternative, that being free enterprise, free thought, free speech, no culturally devisive policies or dictations, and small (out of our hair) government. This political affront on Canadians is what we're seeing today, and for anyone who thought it would go away when we dumped Trudeau and replaced him with one of his mentors have simply been brainwashed by group-think, malignantly spread by people with loud megaphones and huge platforms. Who says the CBC doesn't have a purpose? I just wish it was pointed in the opposite direction.

Well they can wish all they want, but Poilievre does not have the ability to over throw this communist regime. He's got good ideas and could run a country that was not communist. But he will never get rid of them, he has no connections with power, not even a connection with the US president. So it will be another 4 years of quacking in the hoc. Sad part is, he's the best they've got, nobody with grit.

I think a good start would be for Poilievre to use every opportunity to sound like a Prime Minister. Churchill was masterful by confining his comments to his opponents’ policies. Carney and his acolytes never lose an opportunity to make their attacks personal. By not doing this PP will concentrate on their demonstrated weaknesses.
