Another major Calgary water main has burst — this time flooding Macleod Trail, shutting down a major commuter route and cutting water to an LRT station.
The pipe burst around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, flooding southbound Macleod Trail and closing it between 109 Avenue and Anderson Road.
Anderson LRT station and one home lost water, while damaged signals briefly disrupted northbound traffic.
