Building homes at a pace not seen since WWII just a slogan
Privy Council documents reveal Liberals' promise to build 500,000 homes per year was the result of what slogan a series of focus groups preferred, not an actual plan.
It appears that the Liberals’ claim to build homes at pace not seen since the Second World War was really rooted in which catchphrase would best resonate with Canadians based on focus groups, not the Carney government’s actual plans.
According to Privy Council documents first obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter, focus groups were commissioned by the federal government to see what marketing techniques would be most effective at relieving Canadians when it came to the county’s housing crisis.
