This is why it took so long to put out the budget. When you are trying to be creative, allusive, corrupt it takes time to hide the truth. If the PBO found this much so quick just imagine how much more there is hidden.

Corrupt!

This is the reason why Carney government put out an ad on Friday November 14 to hire a new permanent PBO. The current opening ad will be for two weeks time. The current PBO is temporary to this pose for six months.

Carney is a bigger liar than the Liberal predecessor. If Carney tried that with a private sector company he would be fired and charged with Fraud.

Some how Carney and the Liberals continue to get away with corruption and deception.

When the PBO speaks out in this manner before a budget, it’s more than concern. There is a lot of things going on in the background here that after it’s passed, we’re gonna pay for and pay for in spades. Let’s hope the NDP the block get together with the PCs and vote this budget down for the good of Canada and all Canadiens. It’s about time to put politics aside and start taking care of this country before it’s too late to do so

If you watch the PBO as a witness in front of parliamentary standard committee, you could be shocked.

SURPRISED???

WHY????

There was/is lots of evidence and he proves it by the day.

Carney is provably a liar and a fraud.

Lot's of evidence of that.

Of course for some reason being both a liar and a fraud is totally acceptable in Politics.

You may recall an OntArWeOwe Premier who campaigned one way and even publicly signed a document promising no tax increases then did the opposite.

When taken to court Canada's also corrupted judges said... SO WHAT... Politicians can lie and sign fraudulent documents.

It matters not.

There is a theme here though..

Canada is now "THIS CLOSE" to MATTERING NOT.

Indeed it is more than obvious that it is already there.

At least on the World Stage.

The Liberals are absolutely corrupt, while the PBO stands tall as a true Canadian Patriot to the Country. He's got integrity and isn't afraid to tell it like it is. It should be a breath of fresh air to Canadian voters and of course it's no wonder the Liberals are now scrambling and panicking that Canadians are hearing the facts/truth and now want to show him the door as quickly as possible. Libs cannot handle the truth...

It is what we get when we elect a banker when we needed a Prime Minister. Seems there maybe a difference between running a country and managing a bank. Why do we keep electing the politically inexperienced to govern?

Because lib bozos thought it was better to have a corrupt banker with a couple of framed posters than a "career politician " as they put it, who has knowledge and experience on how a government should work

I would like to put a "LIke" beside virtually all the comments, so will put my own comment in. This budget (which will probably pass with the treacherous NDP's help) will result in the destruction of our country. As a professional engineer, mostly with the Canadian Coast Guard, I have seen so much waste and corruption that I could hardly wait to escape via retirement. When Carnage talks about "savings" he should take a look at the massive spending on travel for him and his entourage. Turdo was bad that way, but Carnage is setting new records.

I see now that Carnage is probably going to fold the CCG into National Defense. After the marriage made in hell with Fisheries and Oceans, I have thought that would be a great idea. Look at the US: The USCG is indeed a paramilitary wing of their defense department, and rightly so. It would take too much time to tell the horrible stories that came out of that marriage. I was the lead engineer for the fleet of mid-shore patrol vessels, but my team was forced by management and Service Canada to produce a design we engineers knew would fail. Now I see the news that those boats are indeed failures, after blowing the budget to smithereens. You might want to check out the arctic/"polar" icebreaker, the Sir John Diefenbaker, which was supposed to launched in 2017. The new date is forecasted to be 2030 or later, and the vessel's new name is an unpronounceable indigenous name. I have no problem with any vessel having an indigenous name, but I do have a problem taking away the name of a former Prime Minister who was to have been honoured in that way.

The media have not revealed to Canadians that this budget has Digital ID in it! To collect their government payments they'll need to sign up for a digital ID! Other countries are rebelling against this, but Canadians are walking blindly into it.

As always, walking blindly. There has also been talk of them taking away cash money. replacing it with electronic funds (if I may use that term).

Yep, it’s under either Bill C-8 or Bill C-9.

I keep paying cash in dining or grocery. I encourage my friends to do the same and explain to them why we need to keep using cash not 100% digit or electronic money.

Imagine that, the crooked Liberal government demonstrating more corruption under PM Carney, has anything really changed with this government, the corruption just goes on and on with more cover up. Time to get these clowns out of office.

As an accountant I have to say that's a huge shift away from standard reporting practices and no wonder the PBO is calling it out. Meanwhile Carney will try to fire him and wave his hands around spouting some word salad that we are "catalIzing" our economy - is that a real word?

He is not an effective PM. Bankers should stick to what they know and let economic management to those qualified to manage it.

Where is CBC and CTV in reporting this - oh! Nowhere as usual as they are too busy trying to vilify Pierre

Tax payers have the right to honest oversight and the present PBO "tell it like it is" facts and truth guy is just fine...as for the cbc and ctv, they're to busy battling each other to see who can reach the bottom of the barrel first and win the big prize of who is the least relevant news outlet in Canada.:..

And the snake Carney's answer to all this is get rid of the interim PBO Jason Jaques. ( unless that has changed in the last few days).

Andrew, I was a member of CANADIAN forces for 30 years starting off with the Lester Pearson. this article that you refer to is probably the best article on the downfall of the Canadian forces that I have read in a long long time I doubt anybody in power will pay too much attention to it. They have too much to lose. Integrity of these people leave much to be desired. And it also seems that patriotism has pretty well gone down the tube also We used to be unique and respected around the world those days are long past.

Totally agreed. Recently I watched a BBC interview with a 100 years old WW II veteran. In the interview, he made a comment: it’s not worth it if he knew UK going to become what it is today.

That comment is like a mirror telling me Canada walking on the same path.

Remember WorldCom? The CEO and executuve of that organization were caught and convicted of fraud for "cooking the books." They inflated their capital gains to a tune of $11 billion. That happened in 2001. The CEO was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Should not there be some accountability here?
