There is no money left in the treasury to spend, and taxpayers can not afford to give more to to the government. Not to mention every day there are fewer Canadians employed who no longer pay taxes and can no longer pay bills, rent, and food.

There is a tipping point in the economy that is coming..

I'd say the tipping point is here. Could it be the reason for Carney to realize he's going to need that pipeline after all? Shows how fickle and shady the Liberals really are.

Muriel We have not got it yet, that so called MOU and $1.50 may get you a cup of coffee at Tim Hortons maybe. The built in excuses are in BC (government and indigenous negativity).

"The Carney government’s spending promises are misleading Canadians" No surprise here, most everything this government does is intended to mislead, hide........ Why people can't see this is a pattern, a way of operating, makes one wonder.

"Jacques has been an outspoken critic of the Carney government’s precarious accounting techniques. He recently caught the Liberals trying to hide billions in operating costs by burying them in the capital budget.". Again, no real surprise, the real questions are how much as this governments day to day is hidden? Is his government every saying anything that at least a little untruth, more likely a lot of untruth in it? Criminals in action, right in your face.

It is time Alberta, the ship is sinking, vote yes to independence. It is not going to get better, even if a few carrots get thrown, which is likely when things move forward a little. History tells us carrots don't really mean much for very long.

"The horses are out of the barn!" Things are moving so fast, and "good ship Canada" is sinking so fast, Alberta is going to go down with it. We can't wait until Carnage MUST call an election, but with the traitorous NDP and Green parties I can see no other end. And Carnage won't be handing out life jackets for us plebes either.

With respect to the two words ...

"LITTLE CHANCE"

Might I point out that, that is exactly what used to be Canada has under Carney and his gang of incompetent trained seals.

Sorry Canada...

Elect garbage get garbage governance back in return.

Current poster children for that...

Federal Liberals but there are so many more Politicians in Canada who now seem to fit that bill.

And the Libtards that voted for this guy continue to turn a blind eye to the finances of this corrupt government under Carney as he continues Trudop's massive debt to bankrupt Canada. Is it any wonder no company wants to invest in Canada. Carney continues the legacy of lying to Canadians.

Canadians should relish the candid analysis of this PBO. It's guaranteed the next Liberal appointed PBO will be less forthcoming.

There's an urgent need to disempower Carney or dissolve the government. Whatever is going on, be that an inquiry or else to verify his financial (mis)management or conflict of interest that would put Canada in dire straits, the resulting decisions to stop the scam would be too late.

Looking at what the PBO says and seeing announcements that we are giving $$ to South Africa for farmers and other handouts to more countries, it makes my head spin. We are borrowing $$ to give to other countries, yet food bank use is going up.

And Carney is going hat in hand to other countries trying to get them to invest in extracting Canada's resources. The latest 'deal' with Saudi Arabia gives them ownership and assurances that they can sue us if future gov't's limit them in any way. They get better treatment than any Canadian company.

Why do I feel we are living in a confidence game?

How is the lying, cheating and stealing of the Liberal Party of Canada not fraud, and worse?

If I were to do, but once, what Carney and they do daily, multiplied by the hundreds and thousands of them, I would be subject to social scorn, shunning by my friends and acquaintances, as well as family, and actions to stop me and punish me by the courts.

Do we now consider it 'normal' to see installed, without recourse or complaint, thieves and psychopaths who distracted us, metaphorically coshing us on the head, 'locked us down' with forcible injections of deadly toxin, kept us and our children as hostages, stolen our credit cards and emptied our bank accounts as well as finally (this is now here!) stealing our Treasury, and our real estate including the land it sits on.

In what way have we not had installed, to misrule and abuse us, the twins of Ted Bundy and Clifford Doug Olsen?

I would think that this is very obvious to all Canadians, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Liberal hierarchy will have the PBO officer removed and replaced with another lackey who will give out only what his masters tell him to do.

This budget is not being enthusiastically accepted by the major banks which is the first warning sign nor is the Parliamentary Budget Officer which the second warning. To me this a blatant disregard for the financial well being for this country. The PM and his cronies are running all over the world forming relationships which to date does not amount to anything tangible. Given our PM's performance to date especially that of POTUS Trump walking all over him, we the Canadian electorate are paying the price and we will continue to so for generations. I have expressed the aforementioned to my member of Parliament (LIberal MP) and so far all I get is the standard government press releases on how good they are and successful they will be in years to come. If these predictions are anything the previous PM's we may as "kiss our backsides" good bye.

I don't think anybody actually thinks Alberta is a Welfare state ... I live in BC , apparently we are a wanna be welfare state ... We have a premier who ... among other things, is working hard to destroy confidence in fee simple property ownership and wants to log Stanley Park to reduce Co2 or something ... He hates oil and gas but is ok with mexican drug cartels and fentanyl .... Go figure ... Thanks for the reply Rick

I hear you and I don't envy your government. It's unfortunate that the bulk of provincial seats are found in the lower Vancouver area and the unions/NDP are firmly entrenched. The rest of the province suffers as a result. It's going to take a major issue to displace Eby in the public's eye. Keep well.

I agree with what you state now , but your sick sarcasm leaves a lot to be desired . By the way, I laugh all the time .

We have far to many serious problems in this country and they are not to be joked about . The lib/ndp are a bad joke , but the "Elbows Up Crowd" are stupidly supporting them and keeping us in this mess . The conservatives are FAR from perfect, but they are offering a chance to get out from under a socialists/lib rule that is killing the country and its future .

Carney is for Carney & Brookfield, WEF, UN and all the other one world originations he belongs to . Not Canada by any stretch of the imagination .
