She is the ONLY Canadian Leader with common sense and the guts to make it happen!

She is not your leader, she is your servant. She is elected Leader of the UPC by party members; she is nothing more. She doesn't lead you, she leads the party. That makes Smith your servant, and you her Master. If Smith is your leader - you are the servant.

Great news!!! Alberta seems to be the only sane province in Canada!!!

Alberta would make a very successful stand-alone country free from the shackles of Woke Ottawa.

Agree, but only as a second option. My first option would be for Canada to succeed. It should be the richest country in the world with the highest GDP due to its educated population, resources and beautiful vistas.

David James's avatar

For me that option woud depend upon the policies of the Federal Government. At the moment Carney promises to cuddle up to China. That would never get my vote.

Personally I don’t like it either. Any dealings with the CCP means one comes out on the short end of the bargain. They are a mercantilist country. (Adam Smith, ‘Wealth of Nations 1776. “It was believed that trade balances must be “favourable,” meaning an excess of exports over imports. Colonial possessions should serve as markets for exports and as suppliers of raw materials to the mother country. Manufacturing was forbidden in colonies, and all commerce between colony and mother country was held to be a monopoly of the mother country.” We try to be fair trade. The two are not compatible. Cheers!

Indeed, reinforce the once sane self-defence laws. Incidentally, NO to the government's confiscation.

She had common sense she would have demanded promises and timelines rather than the conditional statements from the feds. Nothing burger

FINALLY

however; we already have laws of self defense.

But this is how it actually works in Canada;

We already have self defense laws where in the criminal is innocent until proven guilty and the victim is guilty until proven innocent, then judges and police continue to victimize the victims.

No matter what her law says if a cop arrests you, you will be tried by a judge according to fed laws. So this just BS. And she knows it. She let this leak out a resent meeting I attended.

Protecting people who use a gun to defend family and home is common sense and definitely needs to be entrenched into law. Good plan, but please understand the nature of the other party to the MOU. Alberta still needs to separate from Canada.

You bet it does, and Smith is fighting against that.

The Castle law is great news! Regarding the MOU…., don’t become complacent, pipelines take 4-5 years to build. Alberta would still be better off in separation.

They will never be built under Ottawa’s misguided direction.

How thoroughly refreshing in this time of lunatic rule with its Justice System that appears to be owned and operated by criminals.

Yet more common sense from Danielle Smith. You totally rock!
