On the surface, this may appear to be good news but I find the report to be discouraging. It makes it obvious that the Liberals and the media bamboozled the electorate by making it a single issue election - Donald Trump. People collectively ignored the horrible record of the Liberals and flocked back to them like frightening sheep. They got played. The fact that Carney is still viewed favorably as a leader means that no one has done any homework about who this guy really is. They are still taking their cues from the MSM. Meaning, Canadians are (generally) still pathetic lemmings that will run in whatever direction they are told. They've learned nothing. Lastly, the Libs are still ahead in the Maritimes, Québec, Ontario & BC. That's almost everywhere.
you are too kind to the stupid Canadian's who voted for more Carnage from the liberals, saying they were bamboozled? They have been brainwashed and indoctrinated...only weak minds allow this to happen...I am embarrassed to claim that I am Canadian, born and raised in Canada, 62 yrs old, and I am ashamed of my country-men/women!
Yes indeed sir and sadly it will be quite some time before the Conservatives get another "kick at the can".
You are being way too kind when you stated that the Liberals and the media bamboozled the electorate or more precisely enough of the electorate who refused to do their own homework or were too lazy to do so to sadly keep these jerks in power. I would have used much stronger words for the Liberals and their very complicit MSM cronies.
Again Sadly... Stay tuned to see the continued damage these fools will be inflicting upon the people of the once wonderful and respected country previously known as Canada.
There was enough info on this lunatic right out in the open with proof. It's like libtards can't read. Then they make up petty shit with no proof about Polievre. Can't wait for Pierre to chew Corney up and spit him out when parliament resumes. Will he even show up or still be jet setting around the world accomplishing nothing
Not that he needs it but you have to know that as we speak the head of the snake is being coached at obfuscation, not answering questions and as he has already shown he is quite skilled at, outright lying.
Good review. IMO only thing to add is that the pollsters can give us "good news" but Canadians will continue to live with it until either the east wakes up, Canadians rise up enmass to protest the injustices( I mean in the millions), or parliament rises up to eject the Liberals. Another 4 odd years of this destructive government is too far in the future.
We can never go back, the damage deliberately done to all the western world has changed us forever and if we don't stop the globalists we will see much worse very soon!
Yup..expect some serious shit to drop before "Parliament Day."...and if they drop the "Climate Lockdown", that'll mean they're mobilizing..might see wifi/ internet "disruptions", stores/ businesses shutting down..and Carney going for another "vacation"...again..not trying to fearmonger..just prepare for different scenarios..
I see Carney made a surprise visit to Ukraine. Pledging 2 billion dollars of support. (Money we don’t have). This trip was to deflect from Carney’s irrelevance on the world stage. Illustrated by how he was not invited in the Ukraine summit in Washington. Problem is the only place people will see and hear the word salads are Canadians watching the govt sponsored MSM. Nobody else in world will see it or care what he has to say.
They give away money to Ukraine every month just a few weeks ago it was 20 million now on top of that 2 billion, some one has to stop this Carney fellow.
If this poll has found that Carney is well liked I can only surmise that the people polled were Liberals or brain dead. Like others in this comments section, I am daily ashamed to be a citizen of a country whose leader is so immoral and self serving.
But look where their base of voters are, over a million in government employees, elite crony families, and indoctrinated immigrants. That's close enough to keep them there with the help of the taxpayer funded media.
Saying it's too late to vote the right way, irrelevant since it is is the prerogative of the PM to decide the timing of elections. Polls really ARE just a snapshot in time.
Canada still is irrelevant on the world stage following the previous prime minister. In Europe now doing the predictable photo opportunities and utterly useless platitudes and trying to look like a leader. Failure.
We need to issue 6 Month Scorecards, with the option to Remove Traitors, Cheaters, the Incompetent, Liars, Pedophiles, WEF Puppets, Money Launderers, etc.
By the time the next election rolls around, some pundits are postulating a snap election this coming winter, I'm not holding my breath for this, certainly no expert here but I see that as political suicide for the Liberals. Trump's influence on our politics is starting to wane, and Liberal Party voters will get to continue experiencing more and deeper buyer's remorse as our economy continues to slide downward and the day to day cost of living just keeps eating a larger percentage of their paycheques every month. I expect the Bloc will gain back some ground in Quebec as the PQ is strengthening there provincially, and if a snap election is called expect the NDP to crown a new leader quickly. There's already one waiting quietly in the wings in Alberta's ex-premier, Rachel Notley. I didn't vote for her in our provincial elections and I don't much like her politics, but as NDPers go, she's far more pragmatic and centered than most of the nutbar leadership hopefuls that currently reside in the federal NDP. She has proven leadership skill and political savvy. It was no small feat that she got to be Alberta's premier for four years. Also, she is white and a woman, two things that could easily get her a dozen or more additional ridings across the country, at the expense of the Liberals. She could very easily take the Liberal held ridings in Alberta, may even take one or two more here in Redmonton. Also, I could see Notley reestablishing federal NDP strength in B.C.'s lower mainland and south Vancouver Island. If the Liberals called a snap winter election I could see this backfiring and costing them 20 to 30 seats, maybe more, and conceivably hand the Conservatives a majority government, or at least a strong minority. All this being said, I see Carney carrying his almost majority to the full term. The NDP is weak but Carney only needs three or four extra votes, besides his full caucus, to pass a non-confidence vote and this the NDP, alone, can supply. Frankly, I hope I'm wrong about this, but I think the Liberals will look back at idiot Singh's Supply and Confidence Agreement and take their cues from this. Not another ridiculous "formal" agreement in writing, just basically operate as a functioning minority government, just as Stephen Harper did. We may end up with an earlier federal election than the full four year term, maybe within a year and a half to two years, but I doubt it happens this winter. If an election happens this winter, it won't be disaffected Liberals going out to vote in the dead of winter, it will be the Conservatives, NDP, and Bloc getting out the vote, political suicide for the Liberals. I don't see them as being that politically stupid, their voters, maybe, but not the Liberal Party hierarchy. I suppose one can always hope.
Eldeezy, I would hope at the first sitting of parliament that a non confidence vote would take place. If carnage manages to come out ahead , all those that voted for Him should be noted and when the next vote kicked to the curb for supporting an evil ruler. That is what carnage is . look at his ties to all things bad in this world wef, un , nato, etc.
I am aware of Carney's many faults and those people who bought all that "elbows up" B.S. I consider idiots. Donald Trump was elected to be President of the United States and "put America first", which is exactly what he's doing. The fact that Trump's economic and diplomatic policies have a negative impact on Canada is in some portion, our fault, and is barely even noticed by Trump. People bought the garbage Carney spewed, about fighting Trump and being a supreme negotiator, knowing how to deal with Trump. In economics and foreign policy, Trump respects power and little else. Canada has lost most of its diplomatic clout and seriousness under the leadership of the idiot savant, Justin Trudeau, and the Trudeau government was also mostly responsible for destroying much of the Canadian economy, and certainly, whatever economic clout wielded in international economic affairs. So, to those who do, blaming Donald Trump for Canada's woes is picking the low-hanging fruit. It is a decade of feckless Liberal Party government that is mostly responsible for Canada's current sorry state of affairs. Mark Carney's turn as leader will likely only leave us worse off. I do hope the Liberals do call a snap election this coming winter because they will likely lose, nothings guaranteed but that's what I see happening. And even a Conservative minority government, weak as it may be, is bound to be far less damaging to whatever is left of this country than continuing Liberal Party control over our federal government.
You and I have true hope for the good Of Canada. What You have just now pointed out is fact . We can blame whom ever for Our woes , but it is the people We have put in to power that have corrupted this Once nation that had the respect of the world. Change is needed for the people by the people . Not ideals and wants but access to freedom and liberty. Let us start with one leg forward at a time!
And the truly scary part is that Marx Carney was an economic advisor to Turdeau/Freeland for the last 4 to 5 years of the Turdeau wrecking machine. That does not bode well for a desperately needed recovery and turnaround for Canada.
Any non-majority Conservative government is, in effect, a Liberal government. The Conservatives have no like minded parties from which to draw support in Parliament whereas all 3 (4?) of the other parties will gladly work together against the Tories.
The Bloc has worked with Conservative minority governments, under Stephen Harper, previously. It isn't ideal but it has happened and the business of governing carried on.
Juno sure likes to talk about polls. I think polls are more destructive than useful. It leads a lot of people off on what I call fad thinking. Instead of letting people see and think for themselves, they go off following the little red wagon of someone else's idea, that molded the poll questions to get the answer they were wanting. I get a whole lot more from reading these comment sections, as you get the real thoughts of others.
Not sure where the majority of the people polled came from but can only assume mostly the east and lower mainland BC. That 39% still support this trainwreck of communists boghles the mind and that the liberals are preferred for international policy and con man carnage has a good approval rating is not just fanatastical it is unfathomable. Carnage is so inept a 5 yr old child could do better. It shows the power of propaganda spewed in the media, and people still have TDS ignoring the fact that Trump is not responsible for the state Canada is in, that is solely at the door of the insufferable corrupt liberals. I am now seriously considering leaving Canada and moving to Mexico because I can't see anything changing here other than getting much much worse, unless Alberta rocks the boat enough and causes the collapse of the current status quo. One can only hope.
On the surface, this may appear to be good news but I find the report to be discouraging. Sigh.

Well stated ...
Yes indeed sir and sadly it will be quite some time before the Conservatives get another "kick at the can".

I should have read this before replying to Pierre, I stole your thoughts...lol...you are bang on!
Yup! You can see too.
Remember the Lieberal mantra of the PM since 2015.
When the going gets tough the PM gets going.
Ya going into hiding. Which Corney will probably do rather than face Polievre to answer questions
Not that he needs it but you have to know that as we speak the head of the snake is being coached at obfuscation, not answering questions and as he has already shown he is quite skilled at, outright lying.
My gut says the #Left cheated, again in the election, to win? #dominionvoting
They actually engineered a coup.

You know Pierre, you are exactly right.
Absolutely correct! 👍❤️🍻
Lying #cbc poll says #Carney is the most popular Canadian Leader, ever??? Can we all admit that we Canadians actually pay the CBC, to lie to us?
According to cbc. We know why, right.
We pay them $1.43 BILLION every year.
We can never go back, the damage deliberately done to all the western world has changed us forever and if we don't stop the globalists we will see much worse very soon!

TRUTH for once.

I won't see it either. Thanks to not watching tv.
If this poll has found that Carney is well liked I can only surmise that the people polled were Liberals or brain dead. Like others in this comments section, I am daily ashamed to be a citizen of a country whose leader is so immoral and self serving.
The Liberal voters are so passive as to barely possess sentience. God knows they have proved that with their worship of Trudeau and now Carney.
But look where their base of voters are, over a million in government employees, elite crony families, and indoctrinated immigrants. That's close enough to keep them there with the help of the taxpayer funded media.
Sorry folks but it's too late to vote the right way now.
Saying it's too late to vote the right way, irrelevant since it is is the prerogative of the PM to decide the timing of elections. Polls really ARE just a snapshot in time.

We need to use Lie Detectors on all of our Leaders and their Cabinet.
They would just break the machines. LOL
...and would deem the results inadmissible in the next election.
We need #PublicServants, not #PublicSelfServants. There is a difference and we have gone completely off track.

The only poll that counts is the one held on election day, as the last defeat of the not-so-conservative Conservatives clearly revealed.
THANKS TO LIBERAL DOUG FORD TO LITTLE TO LATE
