Freedom Convoy leaders Chris Barber and Tamara Lich will largely remain free after being handed a conditional sentence in the Ontario Court of Justice for their involvement in the Freedom Convoy.
Could be far worse in these dark days but how pathetic that we are supposed to feel grateful that they didn't get the hideous sentence the crown wanted. They should get nothing for what they've endured and big red still on the chopping block
This has been political persecution. Real criminals are let loose but if you embarrass or disagree with the government, you will be prosecuted/persecuted. How pathetic that political egos are more important than people's rights.

This is definitely political persecution. This case should have been thrown out of court. I am relieved they are not in jail but house arrest is ridiculous in a so called democracy where peaceful protest is a constitutional right. They should never of been charged, the government is the only guilty party in this farce . This sentencing judge was sensible, but Lich and Barber should never have been put through the torture of this long trial. The prosecutors were actually persecutors.
