PressProgress and LeBrun have remained silent after the Broadbent Institute-backed outlet removed his name from its online masthead.

On Thursday, LeBrun was listed on PressProgress’ “About” page as the outlet’s editor. By Friday, his name had disappeared, while former associate editor Rumneek Johal was listed as executive editor.

The apparent shakeup comes after reports that PressProgress laid off reporters while facing financial pressure related to the lawsuit brought by Alberta United Conservative Party candidate Caylan Ford over stories published about her.

PressProgress and LeBrun did not respond to Juno News’ requests for comment.
