Did he give up his seat in the house? If not, then this means nothing. It's not like he was doing anything useful. Nothing has changed.

Exactly! He doesn't want to give up his paycheck. If he was so outraged then you would think he would resign as an MP because he couldn't be part of a government that doesn't line up with his climate activist views. But considering this MOU will lead to larger carbon taxes in Alberta there really isn't a change. This is a deal that ultimately will benefit Carney's green investments but probably won't lead to a pipeline for the benefit of the Canadian economy.

Guilbeault will remain in the Liberal caucus and will continue to sit as an MP.

Is he playing the pension game like Jughead Singh did, or does the criminal activist already qualify for the taxpayer funded $$.

I believe that he does qualify for the pension.

Another loud good-bloody-riddance from this corner. Steven Guil-ty should never have been elected, let alone in cabinet. You have to seriously wonder about people who would vote for a convicted criminal.

Hey Guilibeault. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. I’m writing this from my hotel in China, where you can see first hand the results of burning coal to produce their electrical power. What is it you can’t seem to understand about exporting cleaner burning fossil fuels to replace coal until the utopia of green energy actual becomes a reality. If I built a car that was powered by coal, you would call it dirty. Put a battery in it and burn the coal elsewhere to produce their electrical power to charge the battery, and you call it green. You and the rest of the imbeciles in the Liberal / green coalition must be a special kind of stupid.

I think Guilbeault saw the writing on the wall, he is a radical and does not represent the views of Canada, and has always had his own agenda and has profited from Canadians. As far as I am concerned it's good riddance.

Wasn't he part of Corney's new cabinet shuffle. He was on his way out anyway. If he's so opposed why isn't he resigning completely out of government. Just another pension Canadians have to pay for while our government pensions dwindle away. What's going to happen to the others on their way out

Not to worry.

The guy who looked best in that Orange jump suite is still around and in the Liberal Caucus.

He is going nowhere and will continue to be a pain in the butt.

Then again...

Pain in the butt and Liberal go hand in hand.

The only serious mistake Canada made was electing this SOB to Parliament in the first place. He should have been deported to some remote location north of 75 degrees and left to contemplate his existence...

I'm almost certain this whole caucus “shakeup” is another big ploy of the Carney Cabal plan...they are slowly sending their "Dirty Dozen" hardcore members out of the country because Carney himself is soon checking outta here..and they will all be safely settled overseas when the shit REALLY hits the fan here..if THIS asshole follows suit, and gets sent abroad, we’ll know for sure what’s going on..why else wud Carney suddenly giving in to Alberta’s pipeline..AND making all these promises to benefit Canada??..He’s gonna up and bail just like he did in the UK..leaving them in a mess, and ripe for takeover.. F#@KIN’ DOUCHE
