BC Conservative leadership candidate Peter Milobar leaves the BC Conservative Party, claiming his values “don’t align” with the new direction of the party under Kerry-Lynne Findlay’s leadership.
Former BC Conservative leadership candidate and the MLA for Kamloops Centre has announced his resignation from the Conservative Party of British Columbia, despite claiming he planned to stay several months ago when Kerry-Lynne Findlay was elected as the party’s leader.
Milobar, who once served as a BC United and BC Liberal MLA, announced his departure from the party, citing that his values “don’t align” with the new direction Findlay is taking the party after several months of her leadership.
