I am so disappointed in Matt. I am in his constituency. I didn’t vote liberal. He needs to step down as he committed to in November and a by-election needs to occur. You want to be liberal knock yourself out. But earn that seat.

wanderer's avatar

I would be so upset!! You voted for a candidate but the party is a big factor!! Personally, I would never vote liberal! I think floor crosses are the scum of the earth!

Kristine's avatar

Party is #1 for me. I supported Matt when he started out, thankfully with a party I support. Now he’s lost on both counts.

How many pieces of silver did it cost to sell his soul?

Greg Mady's avatar

I think 31 pieces is the going rate but you will have to ask Judas.

Franz Kafka's avatar

It is almost always the traditional 30 Shekels, sometimes adjusted for inflation.

Franz Kafka's avatar

I see it as a simple test of sanity.

How many Brookfield Asset Management shares to betray his constituents is the big question. Public protests at his constituency office, and an Air Tag on his vehicle to see where he resides, and then protest there as well. Doing the bitch ‘n moan thing online has not worked in the past, these slime balls need a little disgrace in their lives…

TLF's avatar

Just a lofty position with Brookfield when they acquire Canada.

Carney is promising every soul he can purchase a prestigious career after the political ruination of Canada.

James Turner's avatar

You mean 'when they acquire the rest of Canada'. They already have most of it.

TLF's avatar

Good true point !

The Brookfield/Carney stench permeates at least half now.

I’m still trying to figure out Carney’s talent?

To me he behaves like a sheepish little English man servant. Especially around Trump. I’m sure he was wearing Depends during the Oval Office visit.

Peter Bradley's avatar

There will probably be a federal election this year. Please can you volunteer for the Conservative candidate in your riding?

Edith's avatar

I heard Carney hopes to keep stealing non-committed conservatives without an election. He doesn't want an election - too much work for him. He wants to travel and eat $300.000 worth of food every month on Canadian taxpayers. I repeat - we need to vet Candidates better.

Angela's avatar

Canadians who voted for him have a lot to be desired. They have NO IDEA HOW DANGEROUS CARNEY IS!! He is another Trudeau except he's much smarter, but his ideology is exactly the same: Socialism which leads to Communism but that's not even the concern for me. It's all the Islamists they're allowing into Canada. They want complete control & will intimidate Canadians who are too weak to fight against this evil. Apathy is also a HUGE concern for me. Talk to anyone & you'll find that they have no clue as to what is happening in the world much less Canada. We're in trouble people!! Go Alberta Go!!

David James's avatar

Pieces of the Carney puzzle?

TLF's avatar

I predict there will be no election in Canada for well over the usual term of four years.

Please thank your liberal neighbours for our demise.

Angela's avatar

With the Liberals only needing 1 seat & 3 by-elections in liberal strongholds, I doubt if we'll see another election anytime soon.

James Turner's avatar

Sorry, but 'scum of the earth' is far too kind.

David James's avatar

Greed has always led to man/woman's downfall.

wanderer's avatar

Sometimes I am at a loss for good adjectives!

Franz Kafka's avatar

'Floor crossers' are a mockery of democracy. As other 'crossers' are a mockery of sex.

Franz Kafka's avatar

Perhaps saying a “mockery of Demockeracy” is appropriate.

Edith's avatar

I agree about them being untrustworthy and scum in the end.

Carl Linkletter's avatar

Too bad the Alberta recall legislation does not apply to Feds.

David James's avatar

I'd like to see a Canadian prison dedicated to the incarceration of Liberal Parliament members who took care of themselves, not taxpayers.

Edith's avatar

That is too much work - just vote them out. If this traitor has 'the nerve' to try run in the next election we have a group of volunteers to see he loses.

Kim Mischuk's avatar

I hope you get yourself and neighbours out to picket in front of his office.

Gavin Prowse's avatar

Another traitor, doesn’t have the fortitude to do what is right. He will make a good Liberal, he already knows how to lie!

Albertian's avatar

Have to wonder, blackmail, paid off, bribed, threatened, never an honest person in the first place. There is more to this story, people don't just go the a criminal organization.............

Dan C~~~~~~~~~'s avatar

You are so right Gavin - another liar joins his lying friends on their mission to destroy our nation.

shelley carrington's avatar

I totally dislike this floor crossing its deceitful, step down be an independent if u must but traitorous is not acceptable & should not be allowed! Karma Mr Jeneroux will follow you ✅😈

Cdn Gov is a joke

Iain Campbell's avatar

I liked your comment as opposed to the article that engendered it - and no disrespect intended to Ms. Cosmin Dzsurdzsa who is a fine person and journalist. But I am so upset with politicians who cravenly are all about power, influence, and opportunity instead of the constituents who elected them. Absolutely 💯 no integrity or principles. Despicable. Resign your seat if you have any ethics at all, state why by all means, on national media, and call for a by election. Guaranteed, he won’t be popular in his riding, but, in the words of Mark Carney, “who cares?”

Albertian's avatar

A joke, is giving it too much credit.

Brian's avatar

A really bad joke

Ruth Bard's avatar

I'm sure money changed hands. The only question is, how much? Also sure that the fancy position was part of the bribe. Another fake Conservative betrays conservative principles, not to mention integrity, ethics, morality - details, details.

Thane's avatar

Certainly power and "prestige" at the expense of honesty in government.

Albertian's avatar

Wonder whose money, never mind, carnage carney spends our children's children money.

Leslie Hannigan's avatar

I can’t even put into words how disgusted I am. The corruption is like a third world country.

Albertian's avatar

We have a solution here in Alberta to the corruption in ottawa,

ALBERTA INDEPENDENCE.

Long live a free Alberta!!!

Allan Pippin's avatar

I would expect the people who elected him will turn their backs on this turn coat. Legislation should be put in place that when an MP wants to cross floor it triggers a by election. This is totally undemocratic. 0bvious what went on here. Well, in reality all politicians are sh*t birds. Just another example here. And they refer to themselves as honourable. What a total pharce. Canadians are naive to put up with this BS.

John Nolan's avatar

Sh*t birds is the right handle. And the cess pool called "government" being used by the Liberals gets slimier by the day. Time for a back-wash!

Allan Pippin's avatar

No argument from me. The liberals are selling out the country to foreign entities such as the CCP. Won’t end well but carney will just jump on. Brookfield G650 and go on his merry way. Country is officially screwed.

Bevelyn's avatar

A hypocrite to the core, ergo, he belongs in the Liberal camp. But if he had a shred of decency, he would resign and run again as a Liberal. But, of course, he won't.

Peter Bradley's avatar

A third floor crossing in one year. I’m guessing that from 1900 until 1915, when most Canadians worked hard, believed in God, attended church and lived by high moral ethics, there were no floor crossings. Preachers reminded parishioners of the high morals God expected of them. How would you assess your and Canadians’ moral ethics?

Bevelyn's avatar

Reluctantly, I am beginning to think that my fellow Canadians on the Left--Liberal, NDP, Green--have substituted human rights for morality where the human is the centre of the universe and God has been banished. Thus, we have more & more chaos and the seven mortal sins are in the ascendance.

Mert Taylor's avatar

he will be a perfect liberal he already knows how to lie and proved he can't be trusted, and is focused on his own personal gain and not even concerned about his country! what a piece of shit

Transformative Outlook's avatar

Liberal desperation, Total Control at Any Cost. Authoritarianism, Totalitarianism just around the corner.

Anonymous's avatar

Jeneroux is A PIECE OF SHIT.

James Turner's avatar

Once again, you're being too kind.

Anonymous's avatar

Why thank you, so kind to notice. One day we will be rid of the Liberal Kakistocracy.

James Turner's avatar

It's always good to encounter kindred spirits when the battle gets this fierce.

Jim Innes's avatar

The race to the bottom continues. Canada is furthered weakened.

Laurie Hawn's avatar

Profoundly disappointed in Matt.

Edith's avatar

I assume they will try to shelter him and run him in a solid Liberal seat somewhere. I think we need a by-election and make him lose. We will all help out. Traitors are probably the worst criminals in humanity.

mooligan007's avatar

Digusting traitor, people need to throw feces at him whenever they see him. This floor crossing should be banned.

Allan Pippin's avatar

Well , no feces needed as the man is a feces

Whoa, bud. You do NOT want to go there. You need to delete this comment immediately.

Harold's avatar

Throwing feces at anyone is a criminal offence. Placing yourself behind bars would resolve what, exactly.

mooligan007's avatar

Who cares, it would be worth it.

Harold's avatar

So, you put the "good guy" in prison, which is you, and have the traitor run free. Is that your worthwhile plan?

Drew Gibson's avatar

Another douche! Wonder how much carney paid him?

wanderer's avatar

All abut the money!! Shows character!!
