Good evening folks,

This really doesn't surprise me.

CBC employee wages are paid by Canadian taxpayers and they still refuse to support their own. CBC is the biggest waste of money that I can think of. It is a conflict of interest and the most bias form of journalism I know of. It's is always slanted to favor the woke liberal party and every story they report on is either about queers or the first nations people. I know that sounds disrespectful and it is not intended to be but it is a fact. There is more to Canada then these two minorities. Surely, CBC could occasionally report a story about that would interest the majority of Canadians. I suspect they are trying to promote their own agenda. It is obvious that CBC will not bite the hand that feeds it, therefore it is not a reliable source of news. The money wasted on CBC would be better spent on Health Care.

Thanks,

Rocky.

To compete with the USA, CBC was initially created (1936) as a medium to showcase Canadian Talent. CBC has since thrown their origional mandate in the garbage can to become the government's and Big Pharma's own propaganda machine. CBC was built upon fraud, and exists upon fraud.

I suspect the liberals have told CBC to hire foreigners as another way of sneaking them in to the country

Yes, car insurance companies do the same thing. Some foreigners will break the law for a good paycheck. Some companies hire foreigners to break the law. One company in BC has previously hired drug addicted people to coerce disabled people into illicit drugs use to mitigate their costs.

How many Ukrainians were hired?

They already go to the front of the line in GP assignments. I remember the phone message:

" ...wait times may be up to two years to get a family doctor. If you are Ukrainian press '1' "

I believe that Chrystia Freeland, personal family friend of Dr Meat and Minister of Everything, [nothing to see here] was reported to have issued 1 million visas to Ukrainians.

No investigation followed.

Not at all surprising! Carney’s minions picking up a few of these non-stop immigrants?? And most certainly quality of work won’t be any worse than currently flows out of CBC…..although they’ll need to do lots of coaching to make sure these illegals stay on par with the propaganda!!!

do they even speak English?? perhaps they are planning a punjabi or hindi or arabic or some other foreign program...all part of 'Canadian' programming, because that's what Canada is turning into....

Canada is a sickening mess! I limit one hour each day to news updates and current events. My time is way too valuable to let the state of affairs ruin all the things I enjoy doing, my friends and my family.

I strongly believe we could see Poilievre move Canada forward similar to what Trump is so ably doing in the US. That’s the one hope I try and focus on. A non-confidence vote this fall would trigger an election. Cross all fingers!!

I'd like to know where the Canadian Media Guild is in all of this. Their failure to publicly challenge this blatant disregard for meritorious and fair employment practices is a slap in the face of all qualified, unemployed Canadians, especially any former members/employees laid off by the CBC. You're traitors rather than guarantors of ethical labour relations, like the Liberal MPs who stand silently by as Canadians are forced to take a back seat to Foreigners.

A rethorical question I"m sure... They are drinking from the same poison cup. We are going to be targets by these media types as long as Carney needs them to inflict his Climate agenda on this country. They have absolutely nothing to say a head of his plans and report limited news before he executes although they fly with him. It is a conspiracy but so far we've all bought into it. I hope Parliament will change the narrative.

I don't watch or listen to the cbc. But I'm a tax payer so I'm paying for the cbc and when they are using my money they should be hiring Canadian citizens. This is just another stab in the back of the Canadian taxpayers. This is just another insane situation that the cbc is doing all the dam time.

Maybe our government propaganda media shouldn't be dipping into other government funds. They get enough as it is.

The fact that the cBSc has any employees that are considered "high salary" is simply hilarious.

Their entire executive should be demoted, and have their salaries reduced to minimum wage, for the obvious non-performance issues, starting with Catherine Tait. Then, fire about 825 of their 850 managers. You know, the sinecured (not sure if that's an actual word but I'm going with it) employees that we taxpayers fund.

Say, here's an idea for any remaining cBSc producers. This could make for a hilarious comedy special, substantially increasing your ratings and advertising revenue. Maybe to something like 2 or, dare I say it, even it, 3% viewership. Yes, even as high as 3%.

It would star Mike Myers and ... wait for it ..... Justin Trudeauuuuuuu! Think of the possibilities!

We could even use Doug Ford for some occasional comic relief - sort of a sight gag.

There is more than adequate material for a long-running TV series. Simply base each episode on one of the countless Liberal scandals that have emerged since Captain Blackface/Dressup took over. Up to and including today, with his replacement, Cave Man Carny.

I want royalties.

I live in N.B.. CBC N.B. is not in touch. In their half hour NB News at 6PM they have three weather forecasts, A news item from abroad, another weather forecast and trivia from someplace or other. They are a waste of time and rarely report on anything significant. Their one male reporter is so biased (Liberal) that it is a pain to watch.

I suspect that the TFWs in their IT and computer areas has as much to do with the salaries they were offering as the added subsidies they get…
