A growing grassroots revolt inside the Conservative Party of British Columbia has now expanded to 30 former and current Riding Association board members, calling for a leadership change.
Rustad has done his job to bring Conservatives together but he is not a Conservative so he will have to bend to the wishes of those that must take the reigns in a different direction. We need a strong leader to give a voice to those that want to take the reigns of govt. in the next election and stop the bleeding.
John surrounded himself with a board that has a different agenda than the party proposed at the beginning. If he’d stuck to the course and stayed true to the freedom minded supporters who got him elected, the CPBC would be in power now. His loss is due to his own abandment of policies to end the tyrannical rule taking hold in BC and Canada. CPBC is just the Liberals with a different name now and he let it happen.
MLA Rustad did an amazing job in a very short few months of resurrecting the BC Conservative party from nothing to come with in a hair of becoming government . That is a very impressive achievement for sure, but organizing & running a party or anything else are two different skill sets .
One thing that annoyed me is that the party has not informed the party members on any of the happing's . We find out through the news stories like this one . This makes me think it is all being done behind the scenes .
Yes, mistakes have been made and have caused a fracture in the party . This should never have happened in my opinion . Personally I agree with the people that have been fired or left . The party lost some very strong, open supporters and this should never have happened .
He's walking a very fine and hard to define line .... we need positive change and he can't look too radical or he will attract too much bad press from bad agents just waiting for a slip that they can expose and exagerate
John Rustad should hang in there ... He started this party on its current trajectory and he's holding it together against incredible odds ... I hope he stays the course
If this many of his party are wanting him to step down then Mr Rustad should do so.

The way Canada is going (down the toilet) I am not sure getting rid of this jerk would work but it certainly could not hurt.
