Rustad and the BC Conservatives are way too woke. It’s time to switch to One BC. I live in BC and I will switch my support- I will not vote for the BC Conservatives in the next provincial election.

When a leader ousts a party member because they speak the truth (i.e. Kamloops residential schools), he has lost all credibility at that point. If you just want to spout what you think is publicly popular, you are no better than what we currently have. After looking into the policies of the OneBC party, II have thrown my support behind them, and will not vote conservative as long as the current leadership remains.

Ontario has New Blue but if Fat Trudeau is counting the votes, it’ll be another “election”.

You supported Rustad when he fired that staffer......when she spoke the truth??

You deserve everything you get in BC. Canadians in general are so cowardly.

Lets be clear By many important measures, Rustad has done OK. They came within one seat of winning the last election. The staffer who made a very controversial post, and was fired, deserved to be fired. Yes, free speech is important, but in politics, you must be diplomatic too. If you say something that offends 60% of the population, your free speech just hurt the party. I supported him firring that staffer. Remember this party is 60% Liberals. The corrupt forces want Rustad out. The corrupt forces want Rustad out, so a controlled leader can be installed. Sadly, if appear the PC party is now just the old Liberal party.

Nothing controversial about it, it was a true statement about the residential school graves hoax. If one has to censor free speech when it is the truth because it offends a few people (not sure where you get 60% from but I would say less than 20%) then it is those morons who have the problem but it is also a huge problem for society as that's nothing more than propaganda. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one and we need a party who is not afraid to tell the truth for once. Rustad has shown he has no backbone and needs to step down.

Met John back in 2022 at Reclaiming Canada conference in Victoria. Had great hopes, he seemed like a decent man. Disappointed that he continues to be a Liberal and tone deaf to ideals of Conservative party. B.C. needs to follow Alberta's example and push back hard against loss of sovereignty and erosion of private property rights.

We desperately need to defeat the NDP in the next election. I believe Rustad should step down now, to allow time for the party to rebuild.

Rustad's own arrogance and contempt to his own party members will be the doom of their conservative party....Sad....

You don't need an NDP replica. His only way is out before more damage is done.

Its time for a chang of leaders. We have too many Liberals including Rustad.. who don't have a clue what Conservatives values are and what we believe we are fighting for. Liberals have no ideology they fight for power and control only. Their constituents only matter at election time.

Changing your policies to suit whatever wind is blowing is not leadership. We have too many of those sorts in public office already. Leadership governs based on ethics and principles.

Step aside if indeed the party isn’t moving well into the needed policies. Hopefully humility and accountability!
