It is crystal clear that the ATA in collusion with their NDP cohorts are playing political games with the aim of a smear campaign against the UCP. The polls show that the Alberta NDP are merely spinning their wheels so they are using their pals in the ATA to attack and attempt to make the UCP look bad...The ATA have long since been serious foes against conservative governments and their zeal to falsely vilify, besmirch and make the UCP look like they are the bad guys in this teachers strike is blatantly obvious to anyone who is paying attention or has a grain of common sense. It is repugnant that the ATA and NDP are using our kids as their pawns in their sleazy political games. This entire teachers strike and fiasco has been nothing but NDP/ATA partisan political games.....

As a teacher I do want to return to the classroom. I wish our union would have said yes. My number one priority is classroom complexity and the need for more support for students with complex needs.

The demands on teachers beyond teaching is out of hand. I hope for your sake and other teachers like you, this can be resolved quickly. As a teacher, would you be interested in or support abolishing the union and being part of a professional association like engineers (as an example).

Then why are you listening to the union. You voted to except the agreement then you reversed because the union said so. Then you should be out of a job for letting the union control you.

If the challenge of "complexity" isn't.sorted out.prior.to teachers going back to work, then the entire strike has been useless. Exactly who decided that violent, disruptive children should be in a classroom with children who want.to learn. And what genius let children who.dont even speak English in a classroom with children who want.to learn? And because teachers can't cope with the "COMPLEXITIES", is this when children start to be medicated? School isn't what it used to be or should be.

It wasn't Alberta who opened the flood gates to illegal's.

It was Ralph who closed all the mental hospitals and put them into the classrooms and on the streets NOT Smith.
