BREAKING: Alberta Govt defies anti-Christian censors, permits Sean Feucht concert
The Alberta government has greenlit a major worship event featuring American Christian rock musician Sean Feucht on the Legislative Assembly of Alberta’s grounds in Edmonton.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Three weeks ago, the taxpayer-funded CBC began its campaign to have a previously little known Christian musician banned from performing at venues in Canada. Hysterical coverage from the legacy media ensued, and multiple concerts were cancelled across the nation.
Juno News fought back and reported the facts (read Juno Founder Candice Malcolm’s full expose HERE). Tonight’s news is further proof that a strong independent media can indeed make a difference.

The Alberta government has greenlit a major worship event featuring American Christian rock musician Sean Feucht on the Legislative Assembly of Alberta’s grounds in Edmonton.
This decision goes against the pattern of cancellations and anti-Christian censorship witnessed in other parts of Canada.
The “Revive in ’25 – Let Us Worship” gathering is set to rock the Alberta Legislature grounds on August 22.
According to a spokesperson from the Alberta Ministry of Infrastructure, this decision is all about upholding the basic rights of Canadians.
“Alberta is committed to supporting and respecting everyone’s right to free speech. We have a duty to uphold these rights and freedoms, regardless of an individual’s religious or political beliefs. The Government of Alberta does not engage in shutting down or censoring law-abiding events,” said the spokesperson in an emailed statement.
The spokesperson went on to explain that the Legislature grounds host all sorts of events and are intended for lawful public use.
According to the ministry, booking is straightforward and anybody intending to follow the rules is allowed to host a peaceful event. Feucht’s event sailed through the approval process, aligning perfectly with the province’s guidelines for public use of the space.
“Events held on the Alberta Legislature grounds range from performances, celebrations and festivals to rallies, flag raisings, and commemorative ceremonies. As is standard practice, organizations may book indoor or outdoor event space at the Alberta Legislature by completing a standard application form. All applicants must comply with established security protocols, public safety requirements, and venue guidelines,” said the spokesperson.
“The permit application for The Revive in ’25 – Let Us Worship event, scheduled for August 22 on the Legislature grounds, has been approved.”
Feucht has sparked the ire of some activists and politicians by standing by his views on faith, freedom, and family values. However, the musician has been hitting roadblocks elsewhere in Canada.
Municipal politicians and the federal government have folded under pressure from vocal critics, citing “safety concerns” and “public backlash” as excuses to yank permits.
Recent permit denials have taken place in Abbotsford, B.C., where concerns over protests led to the cancellation of a planned Sean Feucht concert at Mill Lake Park.
Similarly, Moncton, New Brunswick, revoked permits for Feucht’s shows after activist outcry, and Parks Canada pulled approval for events at historic sites in Halifax and Charlottetown.
In Quebec, the city of Montreal imposed a $2,500 fine on a local church that hosted Feucht.
When the CBC tried to silence Sean Feucht for his biblical beliefs, we pushed back and told the whole story. Support independent journalism — become a Juno Premium subscriber today.
Excellent. This needs to be a personal choice for each attendee. Do not tell me what I can and cannot do just because the sheeple folks believe that garbage that mainstream spouts. Thank you Premier Smith and your government.
It's about time that a government manned up. Bring back our Canada. This is a Judaeo Christian country. Satan does not belong.
