Someone needs to apply and then sue based on racist policies. Get this nonsense thrown out.

Pretty sure the Supreme Court would agree with this as an exception to the equality guarantee intended to rectify historic wrongs, if it went that route. I KNOW that the Human Rights Tribunals would! They have been interpreting Equality as Equity for a LONG time! The Human Rights Tribunals in Ontario are actually named Social Justice Tribunals! The Legal community is leading the charge towards Woke and DEI!

Great idea! I mean, he's unemployed right now and he certainly has the experience in being black. He can't even remember how many times he's been an afro-Canadian.

Go for it Justin, I'm sure Katie won't mind..

I am 76, I come from the old school. That will be the day! I was a foreman for over 45 years. I NEVER cared what colour a person was; as long as they were the best for the job. The last 10 years, every thing has turned upside down. Hurt feelings? Ever hear the old saying? "Sticks and stones may break my bones. But; words, will never hurt me!" What happened?

The intention is to recognize oppression by hiring black people before non-blacks. it logically follows that illiterate black people should go to the head of the line. They are more oppressed than literate black people. In fact, illiterate black people are being oppressed by their literate counterparts. Literate black people are therefore the oppressors, and should be forced to confront their literate black privilege.

Surely it is incredibly dysfunctional that Jason Jacques, the interim Parliamentary Budget Officer, will likely be replaced with a DEI hire. The PBO has NEVER been a DEI hire in the two decades that the post has existed.
