B.C. taxpayer funded group smears pro-parent views as white supremacy
Posts have characterised “common sense,” “family values,” opposition to mass immigration, and objections to school curriculum as rooted in “whiteness.”
A taxpayer-funded education-oriented activist group posing as a support group for parents is pushing partisan election content, smearing mainstream conservative views as “white supremacy” and teaming up with hardline pro-Palestine groups.
The British Columbia–based group, Moms Against Racism, has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal and provincial funding as part of its anti-racism education and mental health programming.
The organization describes itself as a “brave space for Moms” committed to helping parents “root out racist biases” and “identify and dismantle racism” so they can “raise anti-racist children” grounded in “anti-racism, cultural competence, and decolonization.”
