So are those granted title going to be liable for back taxes on improvements to the property? Did the court judgement say anything about liability and compensation to those who have obtained a provincial property title in good faith?

Another huge win for the Aboriginal Industry. And yet another door is open to milk the taxpayers of even more $$. The land title claims will certainly escalate.

Well, at Canadians have been "acknowledging lands" for the last decade in every public venue imaginable. No wonder the subjects of that acknowledgment would devolve to entitlement.

This is the zenith - or nadir - depending on your political leanings - of NDP (?)thinking(?)

For all of you who voted for this pie-in-the-sky fabulist, this Green-Eco-Climate-Gender-bending moron, welcome to the penultimate success of the National Dodo Party.

What will be your reaction when it's your property that's taken from you? And make no mistake, that is a real possibility. Their soft approach to this, saying things like "status of validity of ownership", and "granting dual title ownership" is very thinly disguised gas lighting and double-speak. This is the ultra-left approach to eliminating private property. Actions such as this would make Karl Marx blush.

A majority diaspora of mainly white/Anglo Saxon/French/Europeans took over North America and displaced the aboriginal occupants. Through a combination of treachery and warfare.

There, I said it out loud. Now get over it. This has been happening to people since the dawn of recorded human history. It is the way of our species. There is not one. single. country on the planet who has not gone through this. Most, several times.

And where would your Green Prince Eby stop this nonsense? How far back should we go in apologising? Should we go back and give everything to the long-extinct Neanderthals? That would be tough - since they are, in fact, extinct. (Wellll, there is Trudeau) How about we go to their ancestors, the Chimpanzee clans who gave us Neanderthals?

Yes, I know, this all sounds silly. But that was by design to point out how silly and nonsensical this whole idea is.

Truth, they say, is the first casualty of war.

The NDP has given us the perfect modern equivalent: "Common sense is the first casualty of political correctness."

Our courts are completely out of control.

Well, I guess that means the aboriginal band must reimburse all the taxpayers for half of all the billions they put into developing, servicing, maintaining and improving those lands over the decades.
