So are those granted title going to be liable for back taxes on improvements to the property? Did the court judgement say anything about liability and compensation to those who have obtained a provincial property title in good faith?

Well, at Canadians have been "acknowledging lands" for the last decade in every public venue imaginable. No wonder the subjects of that acknowledgment would devolve to entitlement.

Our courts are completely out of control.

Well, I guess that means the aboriginal band must reimburse all the taxpayers for half of all the billions they put into developing, servicing, maintaining and improving those lands over the decades.
